Whenever you submit to us personally or electronically, your inquiries, applications, complaints and other similar concerns, the following data are collected:
- Full Name;
- Company Information;
- Home/Office Address/es;
- E-mail Address;
- Contact Numbers;
- Other pertinent information relative to your concern
This information is utilized for documentation and processing within FTEB, and shall not, as a general rule, be shared to any outside party. However, information that require public access (business names, sales promotion activities, etc.) shall be disclosed with limitations on unrelated personal information. For consumer complaints, notices, and other processes containing personal and material information shall be sent to both parties to enable us to properly address consumer complaints. Rest assured that any and all information shared with us shall be dealt with to render appropriate action and shall be stored in a timely and orderly manner.
Access to the personal information is limited only to authorized FTEB personnel. Transfer of data shall be facilitated through hardcopies, and email correspondence. Your data shall be encoded and stored in a database and shall remain in our system five (5) years after your inquiries, applications, complaints and other similar concerns are properly addressed. After which, physical records shall be shredded, while digital records shall be anonymized.
RIGHT TO ACCESS INFORMATION
You have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of any of your personal information; and
- Request for correction if the information gathered is wrong by contacting the appropriate division.
