Makati City, Philippines—The Department of Trade and Industry-Fair Trade Enforcement Bureau (DTI-FTEB), and the Polytechnic University of the Philippines formalized a strategic internship program through a memorandum of agreement signed on 17 September 2024.
This collaboration aims to cultivate a new generation of competitive and technologically innovative professionals. PUP students will gain the opportunity to work alongside experts at the DTI-FTEB, immersing themselves in actual work environments.
Under the agreement, the DTI-FTEB pledges support student integration and provide relevant, course-related work experieinces that align with its policies and guidelines.
The signing ceremony was co-presided by DTI-FTEB Director Fhillip Sawali and Director Florinda Oquindo of PUP’s Alumni Relations and Career Development Office. Witnesses included PUP’s Career Development and Placement Services Chief Jane Pulma, Alumni Relations Services Chief Ma. Joepe Solosa, Admin Staff Glacie Joy Dungao, and other key FTEB employees.
