Ms. Rosila F. Egmilan

Division Chief

Ms. Rosila F. Egmilan serves as the Division Chief of the DTI Fair Trade Enforcement Bureau (FTEB) – Sales Promotion Division for thirteen (13) years up to date.

She supervises the issuance of sales promotion permits of promotional campaigns in the National Capital Region including those with national scope or coverage.

She has been in service with DTI for the last thirty-three (33) years. Started as a District Trade and Industry Officer now consequently holding the chief position of the Sales Promotions Division where she likewise formulates and supervises implementation of client servicing protocols and operation guidelines particular to processing of application documents and issuance of sales promotion permits adhering to standards/guidelines implemented by the bureau and the Department.

From 2014 to 2018, she was also designated as Bureau Administrative Head of FTEB where she led and facilitated the site procurement and establishment of the physical office of FTEB. Furthermore, supervised activities of Budget and Finance and initiated the handling of all budget and finance concerns and compliance to FMS and COA requirements and reviewed contracts and supervised preparation of documentary requirements for budget allocations of project-related and developmental activities of the entire bureau to ensure that fiscal prudence is practiced maximizing resources.

Prior to her designation as chief in DTI-FTEB, she started the public service at the Office of DTI-Rizal Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP) Provincial as a Trade and Industry Officer. She was designated as Program Supervisor for the Implementation of Business Development and Livelihood Program under the DTI – Comprehensive Agrarian Program DTI-CARP supervising five (5) technical staff for the district concern and represented the DTI – Rizal in CARP related meetings, seminars and conferences and other ad-hoc committee assignments within the District.

Chief Egmilan obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Economics-Psychology at the University of the Philippines and obtained her Juris Doctor Degree at San Sebastian College Recoletos.
