Ms. Eleanor N. Perez

Ms. Eleanor Perez is the head of the Surveillance and Monitoring Division since January 2020 and prior to that, she has served as its Officer-In-Charge since July 2015.

She supervises the conduct of surveillance and monitoring of establishments’ compliance with the Fair Trade Laws and DTI Basic Necessities and Prime Commodities regular price and supply monitoring.  During the pandemic, her Division was at the frontline in implementing the Department’s COVID-19 initiatives in the National Capital Region (NCR) such as compliance monitoring with the Minimum Public Health Standards in service and retail establishments and the implementation of the DTI Safety Seal Certification Program.

Before joining the Bureau, she started her career in the public service with the DTI – National Capital Region (DTI-NCR) in January 1999. She has worked in both operations and various administrative functions in her more than two decades of stay with the Department.

Ms. Perez earned a Leadership & Management Certification under the Recognition of Prior Learning Program from the Civil Service Commission.
